The Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) offers daytime and evening courses, monthly lectures, special events and other activities during the fall and the spring. There are no exams, no credits and no college degrees required.
Members should be 50 years of age or older. Members come from a variety of backgrounds.
Instructors and course facilitators have backgrounds in various fields and professions. The active participation of class members makes these LLI-courses a unique and satisfying peer learning experience.
Mental stimulation is as important as physical exercise to maintain good health. Individuals have the ability to learn throughout their lifetime. LLI provides a relaxed, non-threatening environment to facilitate this learning. LLI offers continuing intellectual stimulation, physical activities and new friendship/social opportunities.
